About After The Event
After the Event is a youth-led theatre project to be performed on Northfield High Street this summer, 2013. After the Event is a project ran by Work in Progress. Work in Progress is a constituted, not-for-profit Birmingham based arts organisation with a regional, national and international remit. Work in Progress is led by Director Ruth Richardson, Company Manager Hannah Brewer and Company Assistant Vicki Taylor. The team is supported by a committee of professionals experienced in working in the arts with children and young people. Work in Progress provides participant-led, open-ended and process-led experiences that promote creativity, learning and progression. Work in Progress deliver tailor-made arts projects, creative consultation activity, training and support for individuals and organisations working with and for children and young people and Arts Award accreditation at Bronze, Silver and Gold level. Work in Progress also accept commissions for bespoke consultancy activity. Work in Progress work directly with children, young people, young adults and the wider community.
